my brother is creating this company, and it isn't even officially a thing yet, like not even on the books.

he went ahead and ordered about $35 worth of and clicked on that "net 30" thing. He didn't have a clue in the world what it meant at the time.

Now he's in a pickle. He's confused about how to pay for this.

What do you think guys? what's gonna happen if he just blows it off and doesn't pay?

It just boggles my mind how they can send me a bill when my bro's company doesn't even exist on paper yet. It's like trying to squeeze water from a stone, right?

Yeah, your brother's in a bit of a situtation here. Even though the company isnt "officially" on the books yet, the vendor doesn't know that, and they'll still expect their $35. The "net 30" thing basically just means the payment is due in 30 days, not really a free pass to avoid it. If he blows this off, he might find his credit score taking a nosedive faster than his business idea. Lol. It's like trying to get a free ride without a license, better advice him to just pay up, avoid the drama, and then get that business officially registered.

35 dollars is not much, yes. But ghosting them will still get his credit score down. But worth of what? You kinda cut yourself off right there.

If he doesn't pay the net 30 invoice, the vendor can still send it to collections under his name or the business name he used, even if the company isnt officially registered. It could affect his personal credit if he signed personally or given any identifying info. Ignoring it isn't a good idea at all, it's better to just pay the $35 and avoid a bigger headache later.
