Capital One pre-approved me for Quicksilver for good credit, but Apple Card denied me for too many inquiries. Amex still won't pre-approve me and it's making me a bit sad so I want to take my chances for the BILT but am curious how many inquires should be my limit or something so that it won't affect my credit till I apply for this one again? I hope I'm making sense.

Makes total sense! To keep your credit healthy, try to limit hard inquiries to about 2 or 3 every 6 months. Since Apple Card said you had too many, its a good idea to wait a few months before applying for BILT so your score can bounce back. In the meantime, avoid extra credit checks and focus on building your credit.

BILT is unique because they're looking for a slightly different profile. like, someone who's an active renter.
They do care about inquiries, but they aren't as inquiry sensitive as Amex or Apple Card can be.
Your Capital One preapproval is a good sign, but you'll probably want to have a credit score in the 'good' to 'excellent' range.
My advice would be to get your FICO score and check if BILT has a pre approval tool of their own before you apply cold
