The guy with the less than perfect credit score

Even though I'm somewhat careful with my finances, my score isn't spectacular. The worst part is that I'm planning on getting a car, my 95 corolla is about to crap itself, so you can guess how much I could use a better score. This is why I'm joining this community, hoping to get answers to questions I didn't even knew I had.
