I'm not good enough to get a UBS credit card

I'm trying to open a UBS credit card (the Infinite one), and I know you usually need a UBS RMA account or a wealth advisor

I figured the RMA account was the way to go, especially with their wealth advisor fees.

I called 'em up, gave them my info (Software Engineer, solid income, around $1M net worth, good credit), and they just told me their "team" didn't think I was a good match. Seriously?!

Am I wasting my time, or is there some secret handshake to actually get this UBS credit card and open an RMA account? Anyone else hit this wall?

I experienced something similar about UBS credit card not too long ago, UBS seems to be quite selective about the Infinite card, especially if you don't have an active wealth relationship or significant assets with them. You might want to try reaching out to Credit Services directly to request a standalone application, but it can be a bit of a gamble. If they happen to dismiss your request again, it might not be worth the effort for the benefits you'd get.
