Sunnycoast credit union

Long story short I met with an acquaintance of mine to catch up and we started talking about life, including finances. I explained my situation and he told me about this credit union being flexible and approving things immediately. He said that he applied logged in to a website and bam - Suncoast Credit Union loan status says instant approved. I found this a bit weird, and since it's not someone I trust with my life, I wanted to get other people's opinions on this. Anyone have some experience with this credit union?

Suncoast's legit and known for decent rates, especially in Florida, and instant approval's possible if your credit's good, but still it is best to apply directly, not through someone else's link

It's one of the bigger credit unions in Florida, been around a while. Instant approval can mean different things. Sometimes it's a soft pull pre approval, other times it's a legit approval with conditions.
If you're thinking of applying, make sure you're on their actual site and not through some shady third party link.
