I've been working on repairing my credit score... as explained by my joining in this forum. So I want to ask, for those who got the USAA secured credit card if it did help you with yours?

Kinda annoyed with it right now. They sent me two different emails that didnt match about their secured card program. I see that you can apply online now, but their mixed info just isnt for me, so I sent them a sharp message. I'll drop an update here as soon as I get a reply, or maybe an outburst. lool

I had the USAA secured card for a while back then. I just stopped using it when I decided to reduce the credit cards I use. But pretty sure like other credit cards, you simply gotta be consistent. Keep the balance low and pay on time is all you need.

I've heard great things about the USAA secured card when it comes to rebuilding credit. Regular use and making payments on time really seem to help many people improve their scores. Have you had it for a while, or are you considering applying for it?

The most important thing is how you use the card. What will improve your credit score over time are making consistent on-time payments and keeping your credit utilization low, like under 30%, but even under 10% is better! So if you're approved, use it for a small, regular purchase you can easily pay off in full each month, and it should absolutely help you with your credit repair journey.
